About can
Climate Action Now club takes place at Montgomery College at the Rockville campus. It is a place where people determined to end climate change once and for all can meet up and voice their own opinions. Our objective is to create a safe space for a community where sustainability supporters to meet and relate. Our mission statement is to provide the resources needed to get as many people involved and informed in this movement. This will be through a series of guest speakers, hands-on projects, and free supplies to assist you in your sustainable journeys such as zero waste kits, solar prints, and reusable bags. We aim to follow the UN sustainable goals. We are open to anyone!
Vision & values
We hope to push the college to meet the climate action plan by 2050. Together the college and the surrounding community can easily take part in sustainability in their day-to-day lives.
